When it comes to eye makeup, nothing feels more iconic or powerful than a beautifully crafted winged eye. It gives that mysterious, smokey vibe without covering the whole eyelid in dark shadow, making it versatile, easy, and oh-so-glam! For my everyday winged eye look, I like to keep things nude, understated, and effortlessly elegant, letting the wing take center stage while keeping the rest of the face soft and natural. Here’s how I achieve this look using some of my favorite MAC products.

I start with a smooth, flawless canvas by applying Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 24HR Matte Foundation + Oil Control. This foundation gives excellent coverage, creating an even base for the rest of my makeup. Next, I use MAC’s Pro Longwear Concealer under my eyes, around my nose, and on any areas that need a little extra brightness. This concealer blends seamlessly, giving a natural, radiant finish that lasts all day.

For the eyes, I go with a Connect In Colour Eye Shadow Palette: Encrypted Kryptonite from MAC to create a soft, natural background. Using shades like soft beige and a hint of taupe, I sweep a light wash of color over my eyelid, focusing on the crease. This adds depth without overpowering the eye or making it too dark. The subtle nude tones allow the winged eyeliner to really pop.

The star of this look is the winged eyeliner. I use Brushstroke 24-Hour Liner to draw a precise, clean line that extends outward into a soft wing. This liner is ultra-black, and it glides on smoothly, making it easy to achieve a sharp flick without smudging. The goal here is to keep the line thin at the inner corner and gradually thicken it as it moves outward, adding that smoky, alluring effect without needing extra eyeshadow.

To complete the eyes, I add a pair of natural, fluttery lashes using M·A·C LASH / 36 Dreamgirl Lash. These give the eyes a fuller, more dramatic look without overshadowing the delicate wing. I finish the eye look by defining my brows with Pro Brow Definer 1mm-Tip Brow Pencil in a shade that complements my hair color. This pencil is ideal for filling in sparse areas and creating a polished, structured brow that frames the face beautifully.

For a natural flush that complements the smokey wing, I use Powder Blush in a Soft coral-peach (matte). This adds a gentle warmth to the cheeks, balancing the smokey effect of the eyes without stealing focus. I love how this color gives a subtle, sun-kissed glow that looks fresh and effortless.

To finish the look, I opt for a Muted neutral pink lipstick like M·A·CXIMAL SLEEK SATIN LIPSTICK. This shade is the perfect neutral, adding just enough color to tie the look together without overpowering the eyes. The matte finish complements the soft smokiness of the winged eye, creating a balanced, cohesive look that’s both chic and wearable.

This winged eye makeup look is my go-to for a subtle smokey effect that’s both elegant and understated. The soft nude tones from the eyeshadow palette and blush, paired with natural-looking brows and a brownish nude lip, create a harmonious and polished look that’s perfect for any occasion. I love how effortlessly it all comes together, allowing me to feel both glamorous and natural.

So, the next time you’re in the mood for a smokey eye without the fuss, try this elegant winged look—it’s a beauty classic that never goes out of style!
